How YOU Can Make Screen-Capture Videos
FREE- no webcam required- for Windows systems
1a. Want audio? you need a microphone. About $5-10.
The free video maker in 1c records audio but you may want to record special clips to use repeatedly for different videos, like intro music or sound effects, etc., so use this:
START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/ENTERTAINMENT/SOUND RECORDER
1b. For chart annotations, here's a draw program.
START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/PAINT (msPaint)
Put chart into msPaint: bring up chart; press PrtSc or PrintScreen
on keyboard to make a copy, then paste into msPaint
Otherwise, you can make video directly from chart
1c. Now you need a FREE video maker. My current favorite:

Also google for a video "converter" to convert AVI to FLV
because youtube prefers FLV- here's a 180-day FREEBIE from
avs4you.com- program has many nice features but only
annoying thing is they put their watermark on your video
for a few seconds a couple of times- be sure and
set Profile to 'FLV' if making for youtube
You're all set with tools!! Extra tips below...
Length: For us and youtube, 10-minute maximum. Also note that the longer your video is, the longer it takes to upload onto whatever site you're using. A good stock forecast takes no more than 4 minutes. Education videos a bit longer, but remember that your audience has a very short attention span and other things to do.
Content: It's BORING to stare at just one picture for 5 minutes. You should be changing pictures or drawing something new on it at least every 20 seconds (you can draw in msPaint while recording in Cam Studio). Throw in some sound effects- google "free sound effects"- use your Sound Recorder to capture only what you want.
Be DEFINITE: A mishy-mashy forecast is useless! It's what the stupid talking heads do! As a trader you're probably right at least 70% of the time- nobody can ask for more than that.
